Maybe in Germany with the cost of shipping, duties, taxes and exchange, it is a $700 dolar bike.

Everything is more expensive in Europe. But that bike is a pile of you-know-what in any language.

But maybe some hipster in SF will pick pay the $250 and crappy Tourney-equipped MTBs will be the next hot new hispter trend. Then we can all get fixies on the cheap.

I run into this all the time at yard sales, people claiming the bikes are high $$ when in
fact they are Wally bikes. One has been in the yard sale for ten years, no labels but
it cost $1200 new, Falcon equipped road bike. Steel wheels, bad tires and all the cables
are stuck solid.
