I was going to Oklahoma this weekend(not on a bike) and saw two sets of bike tourists,two in Ark. heading East on 412 and two in Ok. going West on 412. Which if anybody was to travel the roads are good ones to travel on since they have pretty wide shoulders,except while in the heavy part of Siloam Springs,Ar. which is pretty scary. Just wondering if anybody here been that way this weekend?
And would touring on a mountain bike a bad idea? I've heard different things and even met some that have,knobbies and all.
