Just picked her up last night. Had to drive 90 miles but the man who sold it threw in the hubs, rims, and two packs of aero adapter stuff for brakes of the 90s era.

absolutely stunning. One of the most beautiful I've seen around here. It looks like it was never ridden. What a great find! many happy miles to you, sir.

Yeah, wow, it looks unridden? And something tells me I don't even want to know what you paid...

Joe,
I'm pretty certain that's too small for you. Nice bike and all but as I
know from personal experience a too small bike does you no favors.
Since it is about my size I'll give you a buck two eighty for it.

okay all kidding aside, that is one extraordinary find.

Spiffy. Love the '80s "McDonald's" look.

Beats the 1950s all chrome diner look :)

Do they sell saddles in the shape of a juke box?

Pretty bike...I'm biased towards the McMasi look personally.

Nothing like finding a decades old classic with the hang-tag still attached.

Joe, you just knock me out!

You really have a flair for finding very nice, sometimes quite rare road bikes.

BTW That's one of the nicest Masis I've seen in a very long time.

Way to go! Pretty much perfect.

Who said that about the DT shifters on the new Masi facsimile? :)

...and yes, we all hate you Joe because you keep coming up with these super sweet bikes on a monthly basis. :)

I know you aren't going to divulge your technique for unearthing these gems, but a teeny tiny hint would sure be swell.

Gosh, that bike is sweet. How about the interesting details when you get a chance? Year, gruppo info, history.

...and some close up fotos of the fork crown, bottom bracket area, rear bridge, etc. Please.

Whatever you'd like to add to fill in the blanks. Thanks.

thanks all! im really happy with the find. 57 may be just right for me, although i havent ridden it yet-almost afraid to, but...they were made to be ridden. ill have to sell two of my other bikes to make room for this but, i can live with that. wish it would have come with c record brakes but the seller told me that he didnt like the cobaltos and the other ones were way too expensive. he was the original owner who worked in a bike shop back in the day and built it up just the way he wanted it. seems like lately ive gotten alot of bikes for good prices. i just look on some obscure cr cities in my area because everyone seems to just concentrate on the big cities but sometimes i get lucky

Damn!, I just noticed it's my size too:eek:.....so I hate you even more!
At least you did not find in in a garbage skip........otherwise, you will have to hide from from the C&V forum for a few years till the hate wears off!
