Sunday I'm planning a variation of the Folsom Lake Loop. This may be the last time I climb Old Foresthill until after the heat breaks in the Fall. That climb gets really hot in summer!
It's a classic route, and the Tour of CA has used some of these roads in past editions.
Rolling from my house at 7:30. Rolling from Folsom Bike at 9. Lunch is not to be missed at Newcastle Deli! Maybe an extra climb up Indian Hill after lunch :cry:

The descent down from Cool is technical, and demands respect (it's a ton of fun too!).
Pacing around 17 on flats.
