Is it un-fashionable to tuck my pants into my snowboard boots? :)

Yes, snow will get in the tops of your boots and the boots won't fit as nice with extra stuff in 'em. You might get some discomfort from pressure points created by the pants tucked in.
Oh and it is very un-fashionable, yes.

That is on par with wearing mountain bike baggies on a road bike ;)
Edit: And wearing tight blue jeans with rental skis(I used to ski a lot)

When I used to ski in jeans, I would fold them up so they didn't have to go in the boot. If you find that snow is getting in the boot, you could get some scree collars (like gaiters but just cover the top of boot). You'll be set. Enjoy the ride!

Agree totally, if you have them tucked in your boot, the boot will not fit properly around your ankle and leg. Causing discomfort and cold feet. If your pants dont fit over your boots, a couple friends of mine have said that duct tape or gaff tape work fine, just wrap around the boot and pants. Could be a new style.
Where in Utah you going boarding?

Joe, I find it hard to believe that you, living in Utah, cannot find some sort of sale pants or used pants at a yard/garage sale (maybe kinda late for that now, depending on where you live in Utah)that would work over your boots! Resale shops, ski rental shops, thrift shops, sporting goods outlets, internet! Ask your friends, neighbors, store employees, people you snowboard with?
Have you been shopping till you be dropping? I know you can do it!
