Belongs really inthe fixed gear forum. But it was moved. I'm not sure why.
Reasonable explanations accepted.
Or, "It's my forum and I'll move it if I want to" accepted as well. :D:D:D:D

Really? I think the move was self explanatory: The thread starter owns the bike, the owner is trying to sell the bike, we have a for sale forum.
Now had somebody else posted the link to the auction, and made a thread that talked about the bike, without the sales pitch, i would not have moved it.

I read the thread closely Joe, because that was my assumption. But if you read closely, it says "my ex built a similar bike". Turd (the poster) lives in New York. The seller of the bike lives in Jamica Plain, MASS, so I don't think they are one in the same person. I can ask Turd, or you can, but I don't believe she's selling the bike or is close to the owner.. The bottom part (below the photo) is a cut and paste from the Ebay auction, not really a sales pitch from Turd, at least in my point of view.
It could be a pitch for an on line friend, that is a possiblity. But the precedent you set on this is that the poster is selling, which I believe to not be the case.
All that said, I'm not willing to cross horns with you Joe. It's your (great) forum, and you've always seem to run it fair.
I have a feeling (from 3rd person point of view) that the folks in the FG forum have done something of late to garner more attention, and as such are under more scrutinty than in the past. If this is the case, I'd love to know what the offenses are (as I'm sure there are many), and perhaps I can rally some of the regulars to keep things undercontrol. Or not. But it seems that there is a larger issue at hand.
Again, I'm not willing to cross horns, because you've always been fair, and of course, it's your piece of the world, and I respect that.
Regards,
William.
