I don't know how 'healthy' it is, but I eat a bowl of Berry Burst Cheerios every morning. Good stuff.

Lately I've become a Fruit Harvest kind of guy. Am burned out on Cherios, Total and Wheaties. Shredded Wheat and oatmeal just don't have enough flavor.

Honey Nut Toastie O's (bag cereal version of Honey Nust Cheerios), Blueberry Almond Crunch...and oatmeal mixed with applesauce heated up.

Nature's Path makes a great organic granola cereal called "Hemp Plus Granola"- it has Omega-3 fatty acids, it's low in sodium, has flaxseed, and bran. Seriously, it is delicious... I usually have about an ounce of it with skim milk, and I'm good to go (along with my bran bagal, though).

Huge bowl of oatmeal with, cinnamon, raisins and a chopped up banana. If I really have to sweeten it I put some honey in it. Complex carbohydrate so you don't "bonk" as easy, bonds with fat, thereby eliminating it from your body, water soluble so you feel full longer. What's not to like?

I really like Balance with Strawberries (http://www.malt-o-meal.com/CEREAL25.HTM) made by Malt-O-Meal. I only find it at Wal-Mart. Its one of the bagged cereals so it comes with more cereal and is cheaper than the boxed cereals.

i'm a Total fan for healthy cereal, although i've been doing more oatmeal lately with grape nuts added.

captain crunch w/ crunchberries-the staple
golden grahams-mmmmm
and the crack of the cereal world-
reeses peanut butter puffs. seriously, if you haven't tried em-don't.
highly highly addictive. i'll eat the whole box at once if i get some....

Oatmeal in the winter (I sometimes go beyond the plain and get Cinnamon and Raisons or another variety)

Cheerios in the summer with skim milk (I now have a hard time drinking "Regular" milk) and a little brown sugar along with a fruit (blueberries or bananas usually)

Kashi GoLean (which is absolutely awesome!), Wheaties, or Special K

Any of the above with a cut up banana and a glass of Crystal Light.
Every single morning, that's what I have.... such a creature of habit!

Sometimes we'll buy the Kellogg's variety pack. Sometimes we'll buy the General Mills variety pack:

Kellogg's Variety Pack - 2 Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, Mini Wheats, Frosted Flakes, Raisin Bran, Corn Pops, Crispix, Honey Crunch Corn Flakes

General Mills Variety Pack - Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams, Frosted Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, Trix

But the best is the Kellogg's Fun Pak:

2 Frosted Flakes, 2 Froot Loops, Cocoa Krispies, Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, and Honey Smacks :D

Well, I'd be lying if I said Cocoa Pops / Cocoa Crispies / Cinnamon Toast Crunch weren't my favorite, but I haven't had those in months. I am a big fan of plain ole Special K, which I have just about every day, sometimes with a granola bar.

OK, OK, I know it's really unhealthy but my favorite by far is Lucky Charms. Come on, I can't be the only sugar junkie out there.

Shredded Wheat. Is there any other "easy to find" cereal that adds zero sugar and adds zero salt?

Once again, oatmeal and it lowers cholesterol, and it is hot!

Some critics of cereal here...I have always thought cereal was the primary source of the food chain and all else dependent upon base as a source of animal fuel.. Often, even when I go out with the bike group for breakfast...Oatmeal is my fix...Greasy eggs, potatos only slows me down.
About cereal..One 'high energy ' cereal is "Protein Plus." Anyone tried it..Think it adds a little zoom to your pedal stroke..

I agree on the grease. bacon or sausage...no way

I can do eggs, pasta, or potatoes, it seems like the carbs make me thirstier though for some reason.
I get long term energy, but a bout of short term drowsiness if I carb up.

Wheat Chex and Cheerios mixed together in a 50-50 ratio.

Fxjohn...I do agree..Often the price of cereal is redicilious...Figure it per unit costs- when not on sale..Figures out higher than steak per oz....None the less it is my morning meal...I am lucky in that the stores I shop usually have a sale on one of the brands I prefer per week...
Trader Joe's seems to not screw the consumer as to the per unit price of cereal..
Looking for cereals on sale often is the cause of prefering Special K over Grape Nuts for any one given week..

Winn-Dixie Brand Corn Squares (think Corn Chex) and Wheaties. My only regret is that I haven't found a viable generic for Wheaties.

Well cinnamon roll oatmeal is my favorite.

For cold cereal, I'll take Raisin Bran and honey nut or apple cinnamon cheerios. Never gets old.

I like to switch though, Special K is good, honey bunches of oats, Wheaties...

I have actually done that. I think I did Cheerios and Crispix too, which is about the same.

Mixing cereals is great!

You guys are really missing out on the Frosted Mini-Wheats. They even have generic brands at Wal-Mart! Here at school I get cereal for free, and I put shredded coconut on it and it's pretty damn good. I'm not sure about the nutritional value of coconut, but I always end up seeing it later on.

On a semi-related note, does anyone else love French toast? I don't eat it before rides and I know it's bad for me, but every once in a while I love to pig out on some French toast.

Right now....my weekday breakfast is Kashi Heart to Heart Instant Oatmeal....I love it.
On weekends I do the real oatmeal thing with flax and raisins....mmm, looking forward to tomorrow.
But if I want to be naughty, it's either lucky charms or peanut butter crunch.
