Hello to all. I am a 73 year old male. Been bicycling off and on all my life. Mostly Schwinns and an old Workman. I was at an estate sale Saturday {6-11-2011] and there was a Centurian 12 speed there with a $25.00 price tag on it. I asked what was the least they would take for it. They said $15.00 and I took it. Both tires were flat so I had new tires and tubes put on it and it is a sweet ride. Now have app. $100.00 in it. I can ride faster and farther then ever on it. I usually put in an hour every other day at the local gym and most evenings bicycling. I am very healthy, no aches and pains and plan on living another 30 or so years. I live in south/east Texas near the Louisiana border. Any Orange County, Texas riders here?

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you got a great deal on the Centurian.

Stop by the Texas regional form and the 50+ forum and say hello.

I am in Orange,Tx right on the Louisiana border and near the gulf. If you are on I-10 from Houston you would pass right through Orange. Years ago when my cousin was working part time at a gas station,[still in school] a wise a** stopped for gas and said. This must be the A** hole of Texas. My cousin said, "Must be what with all the Shi* that passes through here." :)
