I have less than 24 hours before I start on my first self-supported tour. I leave from Estacada, OR tomorrow morning, and have two weeks to get to French Glen, OR. Lots of time to enjoy the trip and stop to see stuff that looks interesting. I plan to go through the painted hills and the fossil beds, visit some historical sites and just generally enjoy life as I go. At the end of it my wife will meet me at French Glen, where we have reservations at the historic hotel for a couple nights before we drive back together.
