Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The 8th annual Bridgewood Farms "Burn Your Buns" charity bike ride will be held July 4th, at 7:30 am, starting at Bridgewood Farms, 11680 Rose Road, Conroe, TX. 77303.
You can register by going to: http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=13515
Or, you can download an application from the "Documents and Files", club sponsored rides on WCC forum (www.woodlandscycling.org). The 2010 form will work, since I can't seem to upload the 2011 ride flyer. Bike Lane has ride flyers in their store, too. $30 for individual or $50 for family, if you register by June 30th, otherwise $40/$60 respectively on the day of. You get a neat tie-dyed T, special finishing pin, food and drink, and great ride route with awesome law officer support, a bonus/surprise rest stop on Squirrel Tree Rd, and all the money goes to a good cause (www.bridgewoodfarms.org).
The route map can also be downloaded from the above location.
Come on out on Monday, July 4th and start off your 4th of July with a bang! If you don't want to ride, we can always use volunteers, for SAG or corner marshals.
Hope to see you there!

Hi: i was unable to find the link to get the bike route. Also, does anyone live in that area and know what the road conditions are after the storms last night? I saw lots of trees down/power outages on the news!! thanks

Sorry I did not get your post to my email until 3 am and did not have time to reply before the ride. A route map was provided to every rider at packet pickup this morning. If I had received the email earlier, I would have emailed you one; I have attached a pdf below. No issues with the storms....not even sure if or where they did damage. Even if there was an issue, it would have been taken care of before the riders got on the course.

Was a great ride and turnout...a record this year! We had 274 prereg and 395 total...all those who prereg were promised a tie-dyed T (every year is a "collectors" item), and Flo ran out at 300.

Join us next year!
