Hi friends, I would like to take this opportunity to ask you kindly to please help me identify, if possible, the date of my newly acquired PX-10. The little guy has had a hard life but it now sits safely in my home. I bought the bike from a gentleman that was about to trash it. I spoted it on CL and drove an hour to get (two hour round trip) it.
:-) The bike was left outside and so it aquired a lot of oxidation. This doesn't matter to me, as this is a special bike, and I had to rescue it. I will list the parts I have identified with a few components left. Thanks again for the identfication. I truly and sincerely appreciate it.
Chrome fork tips, seat stays, and chain stays, Inoxidable decal high by seattube, remnants of the Reynolds 531 decal placing on the seat tube, and the reynolds triangle on each side of the forks, stronglight competition headset, head badge with rivets, simplex prestige back derailleur, dural forge mafac breaks (front/back), serial number 496034, nervax stamped shell with miniature Nervex serial number, and stronglight crank (I've heard a lot of talk about Stronglight 93, how can I determine is mine is one?)I'm hoping that I can upload some nice pictures, but If they do not upload, please email me directly and I will send them to you. My email address is spkr2070@hotmail.com. Thanks again to everyone for your time and feedback.
