Hey there, my name is Troy and I just bought my first road bike. I went used to save money. I decided on a 2008 Specialized Sequioa for $350. It has been well maintained but it does need new tires. I am thinking about the armadillos for that. Yesterday I rode to my friends house which is a little more than 3 miles away. Very small ride, I know but it is my first road bike and it does take a little bit getting used to. Today, I plan on going on a local bike trail and I want to do a 10 mile ride. So far, so good, I absolutely love the bike and it seems like a really good fit for me. The gears shift so smoothly and the saddle isn't uncomfortable at all which is what I was worried about. Anyways, thats my introduction in a nutshell.
