i want to know why its so difficult to find spinnergy rims for mtb, i have seen a very few, while its more common on road bikes... are they bad? how about them?

They may not serve too well on the trails. I don't think they hold up well long term. They're beautifully slick in the wind. But I think you'll be disappointed with them on your MTB.

My gals dad has some Spinergy wheels for his mountain bike. He doesn't like them much, said he spent alot for the name, and could've got something alot better. I think they look sweet though

Really expensive, fragile as hell, proprietary parts down to the spokes....what's not to like. :rolleyes:
