Hey all,
just joined the boards, I am from Calgary, AB, Canada. Joined this form for the road cycling section. This year I got into mountain biking, bought my first bike since 1998 in early May.
Recent, I picked up a Supercycle road bike. I know all of the bad rep. of department store brands, but for $80 brand new, I couldn't refuse. Initially, I was looking for a lighter bike to take me to and from school, and also to put less unnecessary wear and tear on my mtb. If I like the way a road bike feels under me, then I'll just sell the supercycle and buy a real bike to get myself into the sport more. Wanted to do some reading to help ground my knowledge in the sport first, that's just how I like to do things.
Anyways, looking forward to reading more on the boards!
