Northern California - Anybody down for some late night rides in San Jose

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was just checking out the "Midnight Ridazz" site which is all about night rides in the LA area. Besides "Bike Party" I don't know about any other organized night rides in the south bay.
There's a group that does "night owl" rides starting around midnight.. i'd be totally down for something like that.. anybody else interested? Especially with the coming heatwave, the nights will be perfect for riding

What sort of night riding are you looking to do? Road rides or just cruisin?

What did you find about riding derailer bikes with SJfixed? I gotta find my Moonbeam but after that I'll be up for night rides as well, mid-week.

something closer to "just cruisin" i guess :) could do road rides too as long as they arent too long at first

They have a longer ~20mile ride on tuesdays and a shorter "social" ride on most thursdays. http://www.sjfixed.org I want to join in on tuesdays but i'm not sure i can ride 20miles nonstop yet

Frantik,
I'm just back in the saddle after five years off, and what I'm discovering is that I'm capable of way more miles than I thought. I bet you can do a flat 20!
