So do you guys and gals out there know of good places to ride around Boone NC?......Are there any people out there from Boone or the surrounding area? <---(I guess that question should have come first.) I know theres kick ass trails in Pisgah but I was hoping for some tracks closer to home.

I've read about Yancey's Ridge near Linville. Maybe someone else with real world experience will chime in.

Don't know, I live close to Pisgah and have'nt heard much about the riding up that way. I hear the roadies like it. :rolleyes:

Check out the trails at Kerr Scott Lake in Wilkesboro (30 miles "down the mountain" from Boone). About eight miles of singletrack there now with more coming, thanks to the Brushy Mountain Cyclists Club. Find out more at http://brushymtncyclists.tripod.com
