Low volume poster here. Will be there riding off the back as a Sweeper for the Steve Cozza organizers. I guess if you HTFU I'll not see too many of you. Should be a beauty of a day for the ride.:)

We'll be leaving early. LanceOldStrong says we should have a pool on when Steve will blow past us, so we may see you too.

Good luck to you guys, we rode the Geysers a couple of weeks ago as one of our riding mates was doing the Bello. That is one tough climb up to the peak, coming down is hella fun. Have fun and take an extra water bottle. There's not a whole lot back there.

I thought about volunteering for this, but with the insanity that followed my accident then the end of the school year and a trip to the East Coast, I totally forgot. Bummer. Maybe next year.

Sounds like the organizers are smart to have a water stop planned for at the top of the Geysers climb.

The ride was nice with some gnarly descents and great scenery.

Curtis you're awesome. That is the toughest climb I've ever done going up to Geyser Summit. Congratulations on making it. I rode up about two weeks before and decided not to do the Giro once was enough for me.

I did it and had a good time. The ride was scenic and well marked. I hope there's another one next year.

That ride up Geysers Rd was nasty. I'm a Mt Diablo regular and I figured that Geysers Rd would be hard "but not that hard". It was that hard. For me, it was a good exercise in not blowing up.
