also known as Lindsborg, KS.
I'm returning to riding after a multi-year break.
I started by riding my (recently tuned) Trek 720. While fun, that bike is 20 years old.
I got a Trek 7300 hybrid for Father's Day, and have already put over 9 miles on it! (That's a lot for me in 2 days :-)
The ride is simply much smoother and easier on my brand-new bike. I'll worry about the "problems" of riding a hybrid once I've ridden enough to worry about such things.
For now my main concern is getting a better pair of riding shorts (as in, I'm using regular old cotton shorts, nothing specially made for biking!)
