Two weeks ago it was brown like our dirt road. Lots of winter stuff hanging about. Picked up a bang bang. New cranks and bottom brackets, and while working on it not in a stand it hit the ground. Broke the left 7803 brifter, that costs another $350 to fix, using Ultegra. Shifts great, not as notchy/positive as Dura Ace, oh well. Headed out for a 10 day bike tour with it this Sat. to S. Utah. And the rivers are high, but bringing the fly rod anyway.
BTW, Not so sure I like the shape of these.

Looks like a relatively new bike. How many miles? Why did you rebuild? Did you repaint? If so, who did the repaint?

2007, 20,000. Stock paint, called Poison Ivy, shade shifter, green to blue. Completely taken apart, cleaned, and re-assembeled. New wheels also.

Wow - you put a lot more miles on than we do. Looks ready for 20k more.

I need to repair our trashed rear wheel on the Roadster. Plan to keep the same Dyad / Dyad combo. I do have another set of hubs and want to build another set of wheels. Looking at some type of sleeker rim. Can I ask what rims those are? Also, what color?

I've been toying with Velocity B-43's, I'd like them in reflective graphite if possible. Still deciding if a 28mm tire would be better or worse on the 19mm wide B-43 vs the 24mm wide Dyad.

Thanks

PK
