i love the bike forum. I first started riding seriously in my teens in San Diego with American Youth Hostels. Have had two Raleigh Pros and now ride an Eddy Merckx that i love dearly, with dura ace 7-speed cassette and downtube shifters. Also ride a Ritchey P-21 mountain bike and a santana tandem. Have ridden several centuries and want to do another one, though am having trouble building up mileage while parenting an active 9-year-old. I'm on a bike high after riding seven consecutive days in marin county, where I saw a $12,000 bike. I'm 48, looking for other women to ride with in my area
