where was everybody? party in the rain! there were 8 cop vans, a flat bed for hauling bikes, one mobile light truck and numerous unmarked cars. 50, 60 cops, and get this, 3 riders! I guess the War on Terra is over or we are the next battle or something. The Brooklyn Chief was there, playing good cop, with all the others toeing the bad cop line. The Cops acheived Critical Mass we didn't. I wish the press was there because that show of force ( read waste of taxes) would have been very discouraging for any New Yorker
Ahahahaha that was beautiful.
Perhaps there should be more sham CM's to throw the cops off.

I couldn't believe it. They didn't figure out that most people don't like biking in the rain?? I don't see why they needed to harrass a group of three bikers, all of whom agreed before hand to obey all traffic laws and ride single file while on the street. Seriously, I don't think they could have disrupted a more tame Critical Mass...
btw, this is Niki, the guy in orange.
Jaime here...I'm the one who got cuffed. I'm glad you posted...I thought your name was Mickey. Hope your ride home was good...thanks for helping keep the Brooklyn mass alive!
