Yes, its a goofy name for a saddle but I just tried out the Planet Bike ARS Saddle and must admit its pretty good. I was not expecting much from a $20 saddle but needed something to replace the stock saddle on my Trek Fx 7.3 as that was killing me, and not too softly.
I have a Brooks B17 on my roadie but dont want the hassle of "keeping it dry" (a B17) on my commuter/knockaround Trek, and so I picked up the ARS from Amazon for $20 as it had glowing reviews. Just got back from a 20 mile inaugural ride and I am pleasantly surprised. Im in the high 280lbs and the seat was pretty comfortable. There's a cool little bounce to it as you mash uphill. Not sure how long it will hold up but for $20 it makes sense to stock a spare.

Anyone else ridden one of there saddles?
