The UCI World Tour races will be held in Quebec City on September 9, 2011 and in Montreal on September 11.
The races have been lengthened to meet the World Championship distances. It is my understanding that the points available in these two races are greater than those in the Tour of Spain which runs at the same time and this should attract more top riders. The organizer claims that he has 4 of the top 10 in the points standings so far.
The race in Quebec City will also include "sprint races" which will include the pros battling for cash. This will be held on the Friday.

Also, the Canadian Cycle trade show is on in Montreal and starts on September 10 and for the first time will be open to the public for the Saturday only. I've heard that a lot of the pro riders will be present in their sponsors booth.
