Hi everyone,
just joined the forum so thought i should introduce myself. I'm 18, male and live in Northampton, UK. Have been MTBing for a couple of years now but have only really got into it in the last year. Mostly ride in the local forests near me, XC/free-ride, although there is a distinct lack of altitude near me so i'm always trying to get away to Wales or the pennines. I just came across the site the other day when i was searching "the Trans-alp challenge", so if anyone's interested i'm looking for a team-mate for next year.

Hello Jensen, Welcome to the site, from London myself, more interested in touring, though we do go ride in the forest, with our cross treks, every Friday and usually end up camping the night. Winters are best as nobody is around. Are you looking for a team mate in the Trans Alps challenge ?? Can you direct me to a site what the challenge is about, sounds interesting as I want to do the Alps in the summer, or ride from Italy to the UK, one of the two for sure. Hang around I am sure you will enjoy this forum. :)

Hey Joe, yeh i'm looking for a team mate, the site's transalpchallenge.com, see what you think. I was thinking of doing a week in morzine aswell, but then heard about the race and thought it sounded like more of an experience, and something that would test me physically and mentally.

Hello Jenson, Yes the site looks good, my idea is more for touring, camping, sight seeing etc. Try posting a note on www.cyclingplus.co.uk. I am sure you will get a bettre response. I will keep an eye out for your posts, summer is a long way lets see....
