Hi,
I'm looking for a decent single speed commuter bike. A store near me, in Toronto, has the KHS Urban Soul for $415 and a 2010 Flite 100, with a straight handlebar and front and rear brakes for $650.
I am wondering what people suggest? I am guessing the Flite 100 is a better deal, but would it be more bike than I need? Also, I guess there's a significant difference in frame geometry, which may dictate one being better than the other for commuting, rather than track. I don't think I see myself riding on a track anytime soon.
I'm going to be putting a rear rack on either one, so I'm kinda ruining the weight/esthetics, but hey.
Here's links. The 2010 has mounts for rear racks, and the brakes.
