Does anyone know where you can get parts for Fox Forks. I have a F29 that has a crack in the lower leg assembly. Does anyone know outside of Ebay ( they don't have any ) a place I could just buy the lower leg assembly and rebuild it?

I am usually pretty good and finding stuff on the web but drawing a blank on this one.

Thanks

First of all, it's a fork. Secondly, have you tried contacting Fox (either through your LBS or directly) to see about getting your lowers replaced? Not talking trying to warranty it (unless that's a possible) but just paying them get new lowers. You might be surprised.

You're probably going to have a hard time finding used lowers; Fox forks are prized enough and expensive enough that people who have problem ones get them fixed rather than writing them off and parting them out.

Sorry, my bad yes Fork. The fork came on a bike I got for parts, I knew it was cracked, but the crack I think due to the previous owner trying to make his own mod for a brake he did not have the right mount for, and I am sure thats what Fox will say. I don't see any reason to send it in if it was owner error and spend the shipping. Fox has crash replacement that is 50% retail for a new fork, but I doubt it would fall under that either but, from what the LBS is telling me "retail" I can find a new one one or a new take off for less than that. They said Fox does not sell just the lower as a part.

Find the part # and contact Fox directly to see what they have to say.
