Hi everybody, this is my first post here. I was given an older FSR front triangle from a buddy, it is the body style with the solid downtube if you know what I mean. Anyway, I don't know the model, but I'm trying to build it up. So my question is; is there someplace that sells just the rear link? Or do I have to buy a beater frame and cannabalize? Thanks in advance

There are aftermarket ones. Try googling BETD, they have old school linkage replacements.

If you mean by the rear link the part that the bottom of the shock attaches too and connects between the front "triangle" and seat stays, you can buy one new for about $65. I bent mine and had to get a new one.

I've given up on Specialized bike shops per se. I order my stuff from a paddling outdoor shop, Nantahalla Outdoor Center (NOC), in N Carolina.

If you mean the whole rear triangle, I don't know.
