hey so i have a 67 Schwinn racer that im converting to a fixed. right now i have ordered online a bb adapter so i can use a 3 piece crankset. i was wondering if these two pieces would be alright as entry level parts. im trying to keep this build low budget.

Probably will not work.

If I'm thinking correctly, old Schwinns were running off of press fit BB/crankset combos.

It may be possible to tap the BB and install, I think, 70mm after the fittings are removed, to modernized.

The classics and vintage (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php/181-Classic-amp-Vintage) or bicycle mechanics (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php/10-Bicycle-Mechanics)sections would have a lot more precise direction for your project.

OP bought 1 to 3 piece adapter.

Should be good to go.

Yup, will work. I have done a similar schwinn conversion with the bb adapter. I used a shimano bb though, with pake crank.
