lol i must say, i am definitely a fan of the cinelli alter stems. some people hate them, others (including moi) love them. but then the INTEGRAlters are something else....

i cant help but sort of want these, but yah im definitely not shelling that much out for something i definitely dont need. but thought id post ;p

ALSO, does anybody remember reading around diff bike blogs (http://www.trackosaurusrex.com/pblog/index.php?entry=entry100609-111233) how cinelli was going to reissue the ALTER???? WTF happened with that? that was like a year ago....

The Liquigas version of the P3R looks pretty off with the rest of the bike.

not a fan of the tires either... when you have multiple mfgs throwing free stuff at you, you ride it especially when your a pro/am working stiff

That's true though, those tires are still one of the best clinchers on the market. Speaking of which, it's kind of odd that they are using clinchers...

meh, we all ride tubulars too. most have multiple wheel sets, but loads of guys are riding carbon clinchers nowadays.

Why is that?

almost every major carbon rim mfg makes them now, Zipp have been making the the 404 in a clincher (not fully carbon as the rim bed and brake surface is alloy)) for years. nowhttp://img818.imageshack.us/img818/2624/32560788643902508a8f.jpg (http://img818.imageshack.us/i/32560788643902508a8f.jpg/)

people like the benefits and looks of a deep section carbon rim. Every big name carbon wheel co has a clincher model pretty much, EDGE composite, ENVE, Reynolds and a couple more. Gluing tires honestly kinda blows, I'm good at it but it's no doubt a major chore, plus the fumes from the glue are foul, I used tufo tubular tape on my most recent carbon tubular build and that cut my tire mounting time down by a lot. I ALWAYS glue my cyclocross toobies though, wouldn't count the tape there we run the pressure to low in CX that thing would roll right off after a couple turns I bet. sheesh sorry I hijacked this thread, you asked ... cinelli makes a nice bar.
