I'm buying a new Rival group on ebay and plan to have a mechanic friend do the install. With a 2009 CAAD 9 do I need a braze on or clamp on FD???? If clamp, which size should I purchase??

What do you have now? it will be the same as that.

If you get the braze-on version you can't go wrong (you can get an adaptor if your frame doesn't have a braze-on mount), but if you need a braze-on version and get the clamp then it wont work.
