I'm getting the bike for $150 I mostly want it for the frame. I wanted to know What I should be looking for for upgrade's. I know Fork , Wheels, and Components are what I will have to upgrade. Its about 2004 SO it does have Vbrake's. How easy Will it be to upgrade these stock Parts?
Component Group Mountain Mix
Brakeset Aluminum linear-pull brakes, Shimano EF-29 levers
Shift Levers Shimano EF-29
Front Derailleur Shimano Acera
Rear Derailleur Shimano Alivio
Crankset Giant Alloy MTB, 22/32/42 teeth
Rear Cogs 8-speed, 11 - 30 teeth
Chain 1/2 x 3/32"
Seatpost Aluminum micro-adjust, 30.8mm diameter
Handlebar Steel, rise
Handlebar Stem Giant alloy MTB
Headset 1 1/8" threadless Aheadset
I wanted to know what are good upgrade parts I should be looking into?
I hear Sram X7 and above is the way to go for MT Bikes??
Thanks!208908
