If I' m using a marine plywood surface for an outdoor halfpipe, shall I paint it or leave it raw

You don't want to paint plywood, but you will want to put a sealant on it.

opinions vary,some say different latex paints add gripp to the wood. Great for a bike not so good for boards. Sealent will make it slick as a babys ass but hey it will help keep water off.

ever ride the dust covered steel plated vert at fdr.. now thats slick on a bad day..

Dusty steel may be the hands down winner,unless some one trys ice coverd ramps in upstate ny?

Cover it in some sort of sealant, yes, but don't paint it.
