Classic & Vintage - Seat binder bolt question.

Jugghead (me!) just sheared off my seat binder bolt. At first it was terror when I heard it pop. My first thought was the seat tube had cracked. Then I saw it was a sheared bolt. Then I was just cussing myself. One end of the bolt slid right off. The left hand side is still in there tight. I tried to loosen the left side with an allen but the head is also cracked so it just allows the allen wrench to turn. I didn't want to screw anything else up so I'd thought I'd ask you guys. How do I get the left side of the seat binder bolt out?

Not sure whats going on - Can't you just punch it out - For some reason I can't visualize your situation... Pics?

Try putting a machine screw through the other side of frame to press against the remain half of the binder bolt and tap the screw with a rubber mallet. A cotter press or large padded vise clamp to press the screw into the bolt and out of the frame would probably transfer the force better or more safely than a rubber mallet.

Ok I tapped it out with a rubber mallet, thanks Fenway!! I kind of thought that's what I needed to do but after one bonehead move I didn't want another one. Thanks again guys!!!
