i'm just learning too. for the manual get the front wheel up than put your weight back. if the front end falls really fast it means your weight is to far forward. if u fall or slide backwards (ouch) that means your weight is to far back. keep doing this until u find the point where the front end doesn't fall fast but u don't slide off the back.
i hope i helped.

set your handle bars parallel to your fork, practice to bunny hop over small objects like beer cans first. As for manuals, jus keep tryin.

Seriously... NO ONE cane tell you where your balance point is.. just keep trying them and you, and ONLY you will find it, and you will.. Just keep trying.

Why is it kids think this is supposed to be easy? Do you all fruitboot or something? I mean, this isn't some pansy ass sport where you jump on a bike and a week later are doing flair whips ten feet above vert.
Manuals take YEARS to learn. Not a few days not a few weeks... but YEARS. I got to watch the progression of one of my friends starting out and he would practice manuals no less than 30 minutes a day everytime we rode. He only rides street so we would only ride together once every couple of months - but I saw him progress with them. Now he is really good at them, but when he started he could only go a couple of feet and never bunnyhop onto anything and manual.
YEARS
How-to's give you direction, but can not give you practice.
