Are they worth the 140 or not? which thudbuster is better im light weight soo..
A question I've been asking too. I think for a hardtail any suspension seat post is not necessary, but I also ride a Tandem. A suspension Post is necessary for the Stoker ( the rear rider) thanks due the pilot (the one up front) not giving warning of lumps and holes in the track. The post I use at present is a very basic one and it is not very effective. Those tandem riders that have the Thudbuster cannot stop praising it. But is it any better than a good quality suspension post?

my opinion? No seatpost is worth $140. Nuh uh! Suspension or not... $140 is asinine for a seatpost.

Too much for my blood. I have a suspension seat post. I think it was $30-40. Not sure it was installed when I bought the bike. But it works good enough for me on xc trails. When I ride over rough stuff my butt isn't on the seat. I usually stand with my feet at 3:00 and 9:00. The trails I ride are fairly new and still pretty bumpy so the post is nice.
