Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Looking for a track frame

I'm finally upgrading from my mid 80's Motobecane and I'm looking to buy a track frame. I plan on throwing all the components from my Motobecane (white b43s, white selle italia turbo saddle, risers w/ white ourys, black all city crankset, etc.) onto whatever frame I get. My budget is around $300...any ideas? I also need it to be available in the 60-64cm range.

Simplicity. I've only ridden steel frames, but I definitely wouldn't mind something a little lighter. Also looking for something that comes with a straight fork. I don't know nearly enough about frame geo to have any sort of preference in that area.

if you bump it up to $400 you open up the options of

if you needed a frame *and* a fork for $300 then the Mark V Pro Frameset (http://www.irocycle.com/framesets.aspx) is probably the way i'd go

I've been riding a Kilo TT for over a year and it's pretty solid.

go with the kilo tt, the leader's a nice option but you'd still need a fork, the kilo'll take fenders and comes in many different colors as well as decals v. no decals,

there's also the bikeisland nickle plated lugged and jury frames, both are shiny and pretty options in your price range, the jury has really nice drop outs and looks like it should take fenders

I feel like for $300 you could get a better frame than the kilo tt, I mean it sells as a complete for like $350.

That Masi is hella sick but it wouldn't look good with the obnoxious wheels I have. I really like the Leader and the Pake...but with both of them I'd need to buy a fork. The Kilo is nice but I really want a straight blade fork, so I'd have to buy one anyway I guess. The Mark V Pro isn't bad, but I'm looking for a black frame.

I don't feel like the pake is any upgrade over a kilo really yet it's more expensive. And the Masi is heavier than a 80's road frame, things are highly unimpressive. Kilo probably isn't a great option for somebody who has only ridden slack road geometry.

I would recommend the iro. Good frame and company.

Weight isn't a huge issue, although I'd really like to get a lighter frame. I guess really the most important question is what frame is the highest quality for the money? The Pake and Kilo seem to be around the same level, is the Mark V better than the two? How does the Leader 725 and 722TS stack up? My only concern is that the 725 only goes up to 58cm, which might be too small considering I'm around 6'1.

All those njs frames in japan are "velodrome racers", and i've never heard of one weighing 7lbs.

Leader 721 or the 2011 725 (NOT the 725 mid).

I don't think 7.1lbs for a steel frame and fork is ridiculous. My Reynolds 853 frame weighs 4lbs and adding, for example, a Leader steel fork to it would bump the weight up to 6.2lbs.
