I'm wondering if they let him have the stage, for a variety of reasons ... probably not, but only the top sprinters really know for sure, and they will never say.

The only complicit were his team mates who gave him a perfect leadout. Tyler was lucky that Cavendish slowed, almost crashed in the last corner.
