Hello! I've been lurking here for a few weeks. I'm brand new to the forum, and already need some help. :)

I'm trying to identify this Specialized Rockhopper and some of the mods on it. I'm may possibly buy this bike tomorrow, after I go and test ride it.

It looks to be a 2008. But looking at the rotors, wheels, and crankset, these do not appear to be standard equipment though. Looks like possibly Easton XC Two wheels, XT Crankset?

Any help identifying and putting a ballpark value on this setup would be very appreciated. Are these mod parts any good?

The parts are all decent, none of them are complete junk or anything. It does have cable brakes rather than hydraulic, I'd probably have upgraded those rather than the cranks and wheelset if it had been me. I'd probably give that saddle a miss too, but that's partly down to personal preference. Price, I don't know, it depends partly on how much it's been used. How much is the seller asking for?

Seems like a decent price. Cant find that bike for less than 400 in my area.

I reckon that's a pretty good price, you certainly wouldn't find one that cheap where I live, at least not in that condition.

Yeah, $250 seems like a great bargain to me! Going to check this bike out this evening.

Dropping $250 for that bike seems like a wise decision. Bikes looks to be a good starting point to ride happiness.

Heck, I'd drop $250 on the saddle alone!! :P
