(I couldn't find a dedicated place in the Tandem area to put my rig for sale. I hope this is the right place)

Up for sale is our vintage Santana Sovereign GT. I have given up on the wife enjoying it or my kids doing it with me. Pity because I love it. Santana made a very few special GT versions with campy cranks and Cinelli bits - it is super rare. Similar to the regular Sovereign but with upgraded bits. The campy drive train is Pista except for the triple which Santana told me they modified them in-house to be a triple. The paint is in yummy condition and the tubing is Columbus Tandem. It is heavy but rides really nice. The condition is amazing and the paint still has that new shine to it. Up close there are normal small scratches but these are very few. No dents or dings.

I am not sure how to do the sizing on tandems but here goes...
Captain:
Seat tube: Center to Top: 64.5cm
Seat tube: Center to Center: 58cm
Top Tube: 58cm

Stocker:
Seat tube: Center to Top: 57.5cm
Seat tube: Center to Center: 54cm
Top Tube: 64cm

Campy Cranks, Posts
Nitto stems (one is branded Santana), Cinelli bars, Suntour XC drive train

Price: I was looking to get $1000 plus shipping. I will be on a road trip this weekend driving to AZ via Southern CA. We can discuss delivery.

More info about the tandem:
Serial Number is GT005 (yep, they didn't make a lot of these)
Captain Crank set: 175 Campagnolo Pista (these sell upwards of $300 on ebay)
Stocker Crank set: 165 Campagnolo Triple (custom made by Santana and impossibly rare) on drive side and Campagnolo Pista on non-drive side (these sell upwards of $200 on ebay).

Looking over paint tonight I cannot explain how killer it is. The deep sparkly blue is in awesome condition.
