Good evening everyone. First post in what is possibly one of the coolest forums I've ever signed up to!
Anyways, I'm Elizabeth Gould, and I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne (well, actually, my family is from Sunderland...but I like to keep that quiet as a Newcastle supporter)! I've been cycling some years now, since I was about 7 or so, but a knee ligament injury meant I quit road cycling at 17 and have only been seriously riding again recently, and I'm now 22 (23 in two weeks!).
As well as charity events and leisure, I tend to use my bike a lot for commuting and for this I have a cheap Raleigh racing bike. I'll get something better ONE day...
I'm also a musician, playing bass guitar and drums, and a keen linguist. My dream is to move to Holland or Belgium where I can speak French/Dutch and go cycling as much as I want!
