This is a pic of the tail of my Trek 7000. I think it is a '00 or '01. Bought off a friend who got it from a friend... Don't really know much about the bike because of this (So if you have it or want to share some info on it as well... PLEASE DO !!)

Anways, What I am wondering is this the standard 22mm post mount? Is there any way that I can mount avid 7 mech in back without getting one of those thingys from therapycomponents.com?

What are my options as far as mechanical that take this mount?

I think that is a parallel mount. If so you need a special adapter for certain brakes. Sorry I can be more specific. Maybe this will help other looking to help you.

Ive seen that before on a tandem i think. Santana frame. I know i saw a picture of avid mechanicals on there.
