Hi, my name is Chase, and I'm currently living in State College Pennsylvania. I am 16 years old and I love the outdoors. I bike almost everyday, anywhere from 15 to 30 miles a day. The mountains in these parts of the town are great for training. I currently have a trek series bike, but am saving my money to buy myself a nice Cannondale road bike. I also have a trainer for the winter months, which i LOVE! It's a cycleops wind trainer. I hope to be biking for the rest of my life!

I do both, depends what I'm looking for during the day. Depends on my mood, haha. But mostly road instead of mountain.

I don't know if it's still in print, but you might want to check out a book called "Bike Rides from Beaver Stadium" by Scott Adams. He was on the Penn State cycling team in the late 80's / early 90's. He used to draw up routes for the training rides, and then eventually he compiled them all in to a book. Some of the data will have changed, such as the names of certain restaurants for water stops, but it has a wealth of information on beautiful routes in Happy Valley.

Wow! (http://www.amazon.com/Bike-Rides-Beaver-Stadium-Pennsylvanias/dp/1882997018) I'm still holding on to my copy though!
