Hello all,
Ok so I never thought in a million years I would join a bike forum. Nothing wrong with it but it was never my thing and I have always been a classic muscle car guy.
So 3 years ago I started riding a hybrid to get into some shape other than round and rode with some buddies in the morning. That same year my brother who rides on a team in western NY gave me an older Trek 1000 to ride if I wanted to try and do more. It sat in the garage for a year until last year when I decide to give it a go. Ok I got hooked quick. Was riding about 140 miles a week I don't know and don't care if that's good cause it was a lot for me. Rode my longest ride with my brother 65 miles. He's 53 I'm 50 and want to do a 100 with him this year. I also relocated to Chesterfield Va with work this year and decided I wanted to ease some fatigue on my body so I just bought a Jamis full carbon frame road bike and plan on doing many miles on it. Thanks for letting me say my piece. All in all I know very little about biking. I'm always asking my brother stuff so I figured I would hang around for a while if you don't mind and learn some stuff. :thumb:

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
