I have a Brooks Flyer on my bike, just bought it. The saddle sits higher, by about a centimeter, on one side. I have experienced the same thing on other sprung saddles in the past. What is the best solution of this? Should I tightening or loosening something?

If bought locally, return it.
If bought over the internet, take a photo and send to where you bought it and tell them you want to return it.
I have three Brooks Conquest saddles (a discontinued sprung model, similar to Flyer) and the spring length on each side matches the other side. A centimeter is about four tenths of an inch, or almost a half inch. I have never seen a Brooks sprung saddle that is lopsided like that.
