I have a metallic violet (or perhaps amethyst?) Bianchi that I believe is from the 80s. It is not for sale, but I am wondering if anyone can ID it, and give an estimate to its value?

I believe it is something like a '83ish Limited but it is hard to know for sure. I am pretty certain the fork is a replacement

Based on the Serial Number I was thinking 84 or 85, but I know the S/N are hard to crack.
T-Mar indicated in an old thread that (some) Canadian models had a full chrome fork during this period. (See http://www.bikeforums.net/archive/index.php/t-613609.html). But I don't know anything about the Bici I or Bici II.

I have the same bike. Purchased new in 1982 (Ottawa) for just under $1000. Mine does not have chromed front fork though.
