BMX - gt compe

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
what year is this gt compe? picked it up at a yard sale for 10 bucks...http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6017/5922743045_7ed7d5593b_b.jpg
Look at the SN on the bottom bracket part of the frame, one of those numbers is a code for a year. $ 10 looks like a steal/win. BTW, that frame style probably spans several years, which is why the SN will be the key to determining the exact year.

Also for the love of god, take a link out of that chain on the 93' that rear axle is waaay too far back on those dropouts, that's an easy way to break dropouts.
