Well I've been quietly standing on the sidelines so I figured I'd say hello. "HELLO!"
So far the forum has given me quite an education on terminology that has changed in the last couple decades. I'm 47 and just recently started riding again on my 18 year old MTB. It's an old Mongoose that has a huge steely frame and weighs darn near as much as I do, but it's getting me around.... for now, and not in style. :o
I'm in the market for something new, something that fits me better, something that doesn't moan and groan when I put my 248lb body into it.
So I'm off to read more and figure out what might work better for me. It's time.
Glad to meet you!
Mike
