Hello. my name is Tim. I have been lurking for a couple of years. Posting more lately. I consider myself to be a runner first, and a cyclist second, but cycling is coming on strong. I run very slow marathons, and try to have one scheduled so I am always in some stage of training.

I love bikes, and have always loved them. I recently became more obsessed with bikes, and have currently 7 working bicycles. I have cruisers, a couple of Raleigh three speeds, my 91 Trek 7000 Mountain Bike (In police possession theft recovery) a cheap single speed/fixed gear, and when I want to go real fast a Specialized Allez triple.

I ride the local hike and bike trail mostly, but also go to critical mass, and other biking events here in Houston. I also take my bike if I am going out to a show, or bar. I do not like to worry about drinking and driving. I only have a couple anyway.

Look forward to learning lots more about cycling.

Tim
