Hello all. Like the title says im an brand spankin new to road biking. I have always been a weekend warrior on the mtn bike but never had a road bike. I am in my late 20s and have done a bit of research so i figured instead of buying a "beginner" bike and wanting to upgrade by next season i would get somthing that i would be happy with for a few seasons at least. So i decided on a 2011 Giant TCR Comp. I rode it home from the bike shop today and it was pretty short (11 Miles) but i fell in love in just those few miles. It was so light and smooth. I plan on riding to/from work a few days a week (15 miles each way) and hope to get time on one of my days off to get 50 or so miles in.
I hope to learn alot on here and maybe meet some local guys to hook up with and put some miles on.
