Foo - The Tablet Thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just got a Motorola XOOM and love it. But it's pretty new, so I haven't figured out all the things I can do with it. Post up the things you're doing with your tablet, whether iPad or Android or WebOS.
And no battles about which is better; they're all great examples of technology and we can all acknowledge that each will do things that the others may not.
So, how do you use your tablet?

^-- And boy does he get gassy and irritable if he forgets.
More so than usual, that is.
It can be hard to tell from the outside.
I've tried out the asus transformer, ipad and acer iconia in store and I'd love to have one, but they're a bit pricey for what surmises to a toy.
The asus transformer can, at least, be used as a conventional netbook, because it does have a keyboard attachment shell that actually matches the main piece.
Now, two problems that they all have, are that they are all somewhat heavy compared to an e-reader and aren't so good under sunlight.
I wasn't a big fan of the blackberry playbook, because it didn't seem well rounded.

I mainly use my iPad for chatting with the wife at work (IM software is blocked by IT on the main computer network, but not on their visitor wifi), playing games (Angry Birds, Touch Cats, QRANK, Words with Friends), general internet surfing while watching TV, and as an alarm clock. I occasionally stream videos via Netflix or Hulu Plus on it, too. It's the first Apple product I've ever purchased that had no intended use. All of our other Apple products filled a need. The iPad filled a want.
The iPad filled a want.
Agree with that. The wife and I talked about the XOOMs and decided there was no need... but we wanted them. Though I am starting to see other uses for the thing.

I can do all kinds of things on my tablet (see below). Two-way communication, sketching, brainstorming. Sometimes I just drag my fingernails across it when I need to get someone's attention.

I wonder if someone's made an app for that purpose yet! lol
Just put a printing app on the tablet so I can print stuff... wirelessly!
